JAÉN, GRANADA Y MÁLAGA DURANTE LA ANTIGÜEDAD TARDÍA COMO PARADIGMA DE ESTUDIO

Resumen: un conjunto de necrópolis datadas entre los siglos VI y VII, están emplazadas en las inmediaciones de una de las vías de comunicación más importantes en estos momentos de conflicto visigodo-bizantino en suelo peninsular, nos referimos a la Vía Augusta y sus estribaciones en las actuales provincias españolas de Jaén, Granada y Málaga. El control de las comunicaciones en esos momentos era primordial por parte de ambos contingentes, además del interés por los distintos puntos geoestratégicos de la región.
Abstract: a set of necropolis dating from the VI and VII centuries, are situated in one of the most important routes of communication in times of Visigothic-Byzantine conflict in the Iberian Peninsula. We refer to the Via Augusta and its foothills in the current Spanish provinces of Jaen, Granada and Malaga.Control of communications at those times was paramount by both contingents, and the interest in the distinct geostrategic points.
