DO RIO SEVER A MARVÃO
UM ENSAIO DE ARQUEOLOGIA ESPACIAL

Resumo:
Neste texto procedemos a um ensaio de análise territorial dos 272 registos arqueológicos reconhecidos no pequeno mas complexo concelho de Marvão. Desde as cotas baixas por onde o Rio Sever corre e onde os testemunhos arqueológicos mais antigos ocorrem até á formação e estruturação da vila de Marvão no topo da crista quartzítica que se eleva acima dos 850 metros, tentam-se compreender as dinâmicas da ocupação do território desde o Paleolítico até aos alvores da nacionalidade.
Abstract:
In this text we proceed to a territorial analysis of the 272 recognized archaeological records in the small but complex municipality of Marvão. From the lower altimetry where the Rio Sever runs and where the oldest archaeological evidence occurs until the formation and structuring of the village of Marvão at the top of the quartzite crest that rises above 850 meters, we try to understand the dynamics of the occupation of the territory From the Paleolithic to the beginning of nationality.
