Abstract

The woman position in the society, even in Ancient Rome, is at the last decades object of many studies. The epigraphic evidence of the woman in the Roman Lusitania is considered and the important research program of the Professor Pilar Pavon about this theme is here analysed, specially two of by her edited books.
